Fire in Baghen forest in Khaprakhol block of Balangir: Danger to animals with destruction of medicinal plants

Pranam news : Fire broke out in Baghen forest in Khaprakhol block of Balangir.  The forest stretches as far as Chhattisgarh, with Harishankar and Gandhamardhan in the forest.  There are even many ancient medicinal plants in the forest.  In addition, many animals live in the forest.  If the forest continues to burn like this, many valuable medicinal plants are being destroyed and the lives of the animals are in danger.
Meanwhile, the Shimlipal forest is burning.  Disturbed public life.  Forest fires have not affected people, but wildfires.  Many wildlife in the forest has lost their lives due to the fire.  Some other animals are rushing to the settlements to save lives.

Sanitizer instead of Polio drops

In a case of gross negligence, 12 children were given drops of sanitizer instead of polio drops in a village in Yavatmal district of Maharashtra.  An official told about this on Monday.  An official of the district said that the affected children have been admitted to a government hospital, where their condition is stable.  All children were under five years of age.  Action will be taken against three health workers for such lapses.  The official said the incident took place at Bhanbora Primary Health Center in Kapasikopari village where a national pulse polio vaccination program is being run for children between one and five years.
