An avalanche has occurred once again in Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. Sunday has an avalanche at Nandedbi.This has led to the death of at least seven people working in two hydroelectric projects there and over 125 laborers missing, 10 death's.
Two teams of scientists will visit Joshimath-Tapovan to find out the causes of the terrible flood that broke out after the Nanda Devi glacier was broken up in Chamoli, Uttarakhand. These teams will include glaciologists with information about the glacier. Kalachand San, director of the Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology, said that one consists of two scientists while the other consists of three scientists. On the other hand, Uttarakhand Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gauba has directed all concerned agencies to provide all assistance to the Government of Uttarakhand.
