Ammonia gas leaks from ice factory in Bhopal, 20 houses affected :- Madhyapradesh news

Madhya Pradesh,Bhopal;- In the village of Parevakheda, Itkhedi in the capital, at seven o'clock on Tuesday evening, the alarm of the Bhopal gas tragedy was once again remembered. Here, a sudden leakage of ammonia gas started from the ice factory which was closed for the last year and a half. This led to a burning sensation in the eyes of the residents of the surrounding area. When the burning and coughing reached more people, it was immediately reported in the control room of the Municipal Corporation. This information reached all the officials from the control room.
Meanwhile, the fire officer brought a fire brigade to the spot. Water was sprayed here. At the same time people were asked to wash their eyes with water. Here, after getting the information, Collector Avinash Lavania and SDM Huzoor Akash Shrivastava also reached the spot. It was initially revealed that a valve had opened in this factory that had been closed. This led to gas leakage. This valve was immediately closed with the help of firefighters. Here, the Collector has put the duty of four patwaris here for night time surveillance.
According to information received from the administration, 20 houses of Perevakheda have been affected due to the release of ammonia gas. The eyes of the members of these houses were jealous. The precautionary administration has evacuated six houses. Residents of these houses have been shifted to Anganwadi or family members. On Wednesday, the administration will release ammonia gas into the water through the BHEL experts and empty the tank. Action will also be taken to issue notice to Javed Khan.

Balve was opened due to increase in pressure:-
SDM Akash Shrivastava said that the pressure of ammonia gas increases due to heat. The regular running factory releases in water, but this company was closed for a year and a half. The closure increased the pressure in the pipe and caused the valve to burst. Due to which the eyes of the people around here felt burning.
