For the first time in independent India, a woman is going to be hanged. Let me tell you, Shabnam and her lover Salim, who killed seven people of their own family along with their lover in 2008, will be hanged in Baman Khedi village of Amroha, Uttar Pradesh. The petition of both Shabnam and Salim has been rejected by the President.

  Let me tell you, 150 years ago in Mathura Jail, a hanging house was built to hang the woman. But no woman was sentenced to be hanged yet. Shabnam will be hanged as soon as the death warrant is issued. The date of when to be hanged at present is not finalized yet. According to the news, Pawan Jallad of Meerut who hanged Nirbhaya's accused has inspected the hanging house.

What is the matter ?

This whole matter is of April 2008. When Shakat Ali's daughter Shabnam killed seven family members with an ax due to a love affair with her lover Salim. Since then, Shabnam and her lover Salim are behind bars in jail. After hearing the case, both were sentenced to death by the district court of Amroha. Which was upheld by the High Court and then later by the Supreme Court. There is an atmosphere of happiness among the people of the village when Shabnam and Salim's mercy petition is rejected.

Shabnam gave birth to a son in Moradabad Jail. She used to raise him in jail but when she was seven years old, she was adopted by a friend of Shabnam, who is still taking care of her.
